The essence of the problem
NPK Morsvyazavtomatika LLC contacted us with a request to patent a method for teaching how to operate a bending machine using augmented reality glasses (AR glasses).
Uniqueness and complexity of the case
According to clause 5 of Art. 1350 of the Civil Code of the Russian Federation, patents for computer programs are not issued; this norm creates obstacles to the patenting of technical solutions based on the use of information technology. For this reason, writing a bid for IT solutions requires a special skill that our employees possess.
Our solution
We reviewed the client’s materials on the development and conducted a study of the patentability of the presented technical solution.
After a positive opinion from a patent attorney, we prepared an application for an invention for a Method of using augmented reality tools (AR glasses) to interact with a bending machine.
Obtained a patent for an invention for the client, despite the controversial practice of Rospatent regarding patenting solutions with IT elements.

Based on the application for an invention, patent No. 2833412 was received
