This article is devoted to legislation aimed at regulating relations between the state customer and the contractor on issues of ensuring legal protection of newly created results of intellectual activity, as well as their state accounting. The mechanisms of legal regulation of certain types of relations that exist today are considered, as well as a number of problems that scientific and production enterprises face in the course of performing work under a government contract.
